Today, our club raised over £500 from subs, donations and raffles towards Asthma UK the chosen charity by the Perrott family, for the late Kimberley Perrott, the treasured daughter of Kevin Perrott, our walking football colleague.
Over 40 players turned out and played across 5 teams in a round robin tournament.

It is worth remembering that Kimberley passed away when she was only 17 from an Asthma attack, and since then, the Perrott family have worked tirelessly to keep her memory alive and raise considerable funds for the Asthma UK charity.
Kev explained that Kimberley was a much-loved girl and lovely dancer for Sylvia Bird’s Dancing Academy, winning over 70 trophies and 250 medals, all whilst living with Asthma.
It was in March 2005, when Kev and his father set up the “Kimberley Perrott Memorial Trust” and it was then they decided to run an annual football event in memory of Kimberley and to raise funds for charity. It all started on the playing fields at Binley Woods, where Kev lives, between friends and family. Then after Covid and on becoming a member of our club, the event was moved to the Alan Higgs Centre and is now being hosted by the Coventry & District Walking Football Club.
Natalie said: "As a family, no words can truly express how grateful we are to you all. Once again, it was an incredible turnout, and together we’ve raised an amazing amount for the charity. Your continued love, support, and generosity mean the world to us. Thank you for standing by us, for supporting the Kimberley Perrott Memorial Fund, and for helping to keep her beautiful memory alive through everything you do. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every moment shared helps her legacy continue to shine. With all our love and heartfelt thanks, Natalie, Kev & Jenny x"
As Kev said, “I would like to thank all my football mates for playing, it’s much appreciated”.
