Coventry & District ladies player Claire Jones is a top tennis player and is currently ranked 135th in the world in the women’s over 50 age group, an excellent achievement. Claire plays tennis at local Coventry club Beechwood and last year entered the prestigious tournament for her age group at Wimbledon.
Claire is a regular attendee at our mixed Monday and Thursday sessions at Alan Higgs and those that know her will agree that she is a very good walking footballer.
We wish her all the very best in her tennis career and also for the season ahead in the Birmingham Women’s League where she a key squad member of our ladies team.
