The ladies travelled to Northampton Sunday 1st March to take on Northampton Town in a friendly. We took 2 teams - with our first team playing their first team twice and their second team once and our second team who took on their second team twice and their first team once. Our teams had differing fortunes.
Alwyn took charge of our first team and they won all three games with Birthday girl Sharon netting 3 goals and Luca grabbing a brace. Five goals scored and no goals conceded.
Steph took charge of our second team and lost two games and got a draw on the third game. Becky grabbing the goal for us.
A creditable effort when you know that Northampton are an established club and our ladies have been going for 16 months.
A good day was had by all - playing and later in the local pub for a social get together.
