On Friday 1st August, our club came together to show our appreciation for the contributions and achievements made by our members over the last 12 months. Over 85 members and their partners came along to join in the celebrations. Our thanks go to Dee Badland and Kim Watkin for putting on a marvellous buffet and to Alwyn Day and Alan Dadley for running the quiz.
We welcomed our newly formed women’s section members and their partners to the event and for the first time we presented 17 awards in total to both the men’s and ladies groups.
The prestigious clubman of the year award, as voted by members of the club, was won by Phil Hutchings. Further awards were presented across three categories from “Club", “Men's Teams" and “Ladies Team” and these are set out below. See our photo album here.
